Jakarta, March 17, 2023 – Digiasia Bios announced its latest cooperation with PT Jabar Telematics (JT Digital), one of West Java Provincial Government’s Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD), at Collaboration Forum Jasa Sarana. Hermansyah Haryono, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Digiasia Bios signed a cooperation agreement with PT Jabar Telematics President Director Thalhah Fakhrizal on March 16. The signing took place at the Office of the Governor of West Java – Gedung Sate Bandung and was witnessed by the Governor of West Java Dr. (HC) Ridwan Kamil, President Director of PT Jasa Sarana, and CEO and Co-Founder of Digiasia Alexander Rusli.
Digiasia Bios, together with the government, BUMD and the business ecosystem, is actively participating in the development of business growth in the West Java region due to its significant potential. First, West Java is home to an estimated 50 million people. This is about 20% of Indonesia’s total population. Secondly, West Java is said to have the highest economic growth compared to other regions in Java. Finally, West Java has the highest investment funds in Indonesia. It is also the most efficient investment destination in Indonesia.
The collaboration between Digiasia Bios and PT Jabar Telematics is part of the West Java Provincial Government’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation and business innovation. This includes supporting the operations and synergies of West Java BUMDs, companies in the oil and gas sector, the largest port in West Java, industrial areas and local governments.
As a realization of this collaboration, Digiasia Bios and PT Jabar Telematics will launch a local ecosystem in the third quarter of 2023 that can increase the local income (PAD) of each city and district in West Java through electronic and cashless system programs such as e-government, smart cities and smart villages, which will have a real and sustainable impact on the government and people of West Java. Digiasia Bios’ role will later present products and services that enable partners and public to use technology to optimize financial management process, both in business and daily life.
Alex said, “Expanding the penetration of digital and financial technology is one of the biggest motivations we have today. That is why we are proud to partner with one of the largest BUMDs such as PT Jasa Sarana and PT Jabar Telematics to provide the best digital solutions and ICT-based infrastructure such as digital cashless systems, IoT, telecom, AI and applications that will be used by government agencies, districts and cities in West Java, including BUMDs, businesses and the people of West Java.” Alex admitted that this collaboration is a new step for Digiasia Bios in developing ICT and telecommunication-based cooperation, given the high penetration of digital technology and financial services owned by Digiasia Bios.
Furthermore, Alex also revealed that the cooperation with PT Jabar Digital is in line with what has been the focus of Digiasia Bios’ business so far. Through 4 legally licensed digital and financial product assets such as – KasPro, KreditPro, RemitPro and DigiBos, Alex admits that the company is still looking for more ways to collaborate to be able to provide easy transactions for the community and existing partners.
This is also a new step for Digiasia Bios in support of government programs to increase digital inclusion in a positive and productive way, especially for people who have not been touched and do not have a proper understanding of the use of technology. The concept of efficiency, transparency, and convenience through the use of Digiasia Bios’ digital products is believed to further increase economic growth in Indonesia more broadly, especially in West Java.
“The sustainable synergy of working together with a number of partners who join this ecosystem is to jointly realize the progress of infrastructure development in West Java Province and also to increase the revenue growth of both parties,” Alex concluded.
