BI’s Money Supply Analysis noted that loans to the MSME sector grew 12.3 percent year on year (yoy) to Rp 1,147.3 trillion throughout 2021. Nevertheless, the number of MSME loans still contributed 19.93 percent of the total bank lending of Rp 5,755.7 trillion over the past year.
Based on this data, the Government continues to convey that the banking sector can optimize digital services to spur the effectiveness of lending, especially to the MSME sector in Indonesia.
To spur the effectiveness of lending, especially to the MSME sector in Indonesia, Indonesian fintech lending company KreditPro, announced a channeling collaboration with Reliance Finance Indonesia.
“Thank you to Reliance Finance and Reliance Group for their trust in KreditPro as a strategic partner in distributing financing to the public, especially business actors in the MSME sector. KreditPro believes this collaboration will have a positive impact for both companies and especially for MSME players in Indonesia,” said CreditPro Vice President Rizky Jonathan in a written statement in Jakarta, Sunday (6/3/2022).
Rizky explained this collaboration with Reliance Finance aims to help the growth of the MSME business in the increasingly rapid digital era and with higher community mobility. The channeling cooperation scheme that is carried out is expected to provide wider financial access for MSME actors in Indonesia.
Rizky also said that through a portfolio of both Reliance Finance and KrediPro, this collaboration could increase the ratio of lending to the MSME sector, raise the MSME credit ceiling and increase the number of MSME players accessing KUR financing in Indonesia.
Reliance Finance itself recently became the first financing company outside of SOEs to be trusted to distribute Ultra Micro (UMi) programs in Indonesia.
“The collaboration that we have built certainly prioritizes mutually beneficial partnerships and complements the advantages of each company with a focus on the growth of the MSME sector and financial digitization in Indonesia,” said Reliance Finance President Director Iman Pribadi.
Along with the development of financial digitalization in Indonesia, KreditPro continues to support programs launched by the government while continuing to carry out its business activities prudently. This is done by KreditPro to optimize digital services to spur the effectiveness of lending to the MSME sector.
Not only that, from 2018 until the beginning of the first quarter of 2022, KreditPro has succeeded in disbursing loans of more than IDR 700 billion and is expected to reach the target of disbursing funds of IDR 1 trillion in 2022.
“We are optimistic that we can continue to support business development in the MSME sector so that we can continue to maximize the needs of the productive sector in Indonesia, through the acceleration of MSME financing that we do.” continued Rizky.
The collaboration with Reliance Finance is an additional portfolio for KreditPro, which always shows its commitment to advancing financial digitalization in Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, KreditPro and Reliance Finance also hope to support the development of a people-based economy through financing the MSME segment, which is one of the driving forces of the Indonesian economy today.
