RemitPro x Ria Financial Services: Building the Nation Through The Convenience and Ease of Withdrawing Money Transferred from Overseas

Jakarta – RemitPro, the technology-based money transfer service platform, announces its latest collaboration with Ria Financial Services. This collaboration, which has obtained official permission from Bank Indonesia (BI), is the proof of RemitPro’s serious commitment in enhancing cross-border payments and becoming the solution of money transfers needs for the people of Indonesia.

In the midst of the ease where Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) can also send money directly to a family-owned bank account, there are still obstacles due to the limited area of the bank office branch or ATM to do the withdrawal. This has become the biggest reason why PMI prefers the conventional money transfer method which is withdrawn in cash.

Due to those obstacles, RemitPro through its wide partnership network offers the convenience for them to send money through the Ria Financial Services network abroad, and for the recipients family to easily withdraw it at any locations with the RemitPro logo, which have spread across Java, Bali, Madura and also Lombok.

President Director of RemitPro, Arman Bhariadi said, ”The collaboration with Ria Financial Services will provide the PMI Family with better convenience in terms of sending and receiving funds at 500 RemitPro’s locations in Indonesia. The partnership network of our branch is spreaded from the center of the cities to the villages, with hopes that the transactions can be carried out more comfortably by the beneficiary’s families in any locations.”

“In addition to providing a secure and integrated system with Ria Financial Services, our operators who served on ground have also gone through various training and of course they are under our optimal supervision,” he added. Arman further explained that RemitPro’s location network has been officially registered with Bank Indonesia and offers flexibility in terms of disbursement timing. Many of these locations have their services open from 7AM and operate even after office hours. Most operate from Monday to Saturday and some even stay open on Sunday and public holidays.

RemitPro is committed to maintaining the availability of cash throughout its network of locations so that it can serve payments of up to IDR 25 million per transaction. Arman added that by the end of the year, RemitPro is targeting to expand its network to 750 locations, in hope of making it easier for PMI families to withdraw the money sent by their relatives abroad.

RemitPro is part of Digiasia Bios, the parent of a group of companies that focuses on Financial Technology and Digitalization of payment systems. This latest collaboration is in line with the company’s vision, where RemitPro also prioritizes the democratization of financial services for the Indonesian people. ”Through the collaboration, innovation, facilities and technology that we present, we hope we can continue to serve, make cross-border payments easier and become the solution of money transfers needs for the people of Indonesian,” Arman concluded.
